Segmented panoramas or stiched panoramas are made by joining multiple photographs with slightly overlapping fields of view so as to create a larger, panoramic image once assembled.
For your project, you will take 4-5 pictures of a place.
Things to keep in mind:
- hold the camera level, (this will make the process of mending easier)
- stand in one spot
- overlap the photographs slightly, so that there are no gaps in between the photographs
- choose a place where there is good lighting...like OUTSIDE!
- the more hard-edged lines that are in your photographs, the harder it will be to blend them together.
- be creative and try to find a place that is interesting!
We will eventually be loading these photographs on the computer and blending them together usuing various tools in Adobe Photoshop.
